MJAD began her media career as a local television host and radio regular in South Florida before moving to a larger audience with "Simply MJAD". Most viewers and listeners know MJAD from her previous WPBT2 PBS public affairs show, "Connections". MJAD's passion and amazing connection with people brought her to WPBT2 PBS Miami Florida where she created, produced, and hosted the show "Connections".
As a Transformation Conversationalist and in the literary field as the Transformational writer of a Global barrier breaking Transformational reading A Conversation Of Transformation likewise an inspirational memoir, The Barrister's Daughter, a series of children's books, and reflective writings, MJAD has inspired, moved, and touched millions of lives and ongoing. Like the Lotus flower that blooms one pedal at a time MJAD breathes Ouuff one breath at a time as she gives Presence to the happenings and people on her journey that cross her path one at a time, directly indirectly.
When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, at the age of seven MJAD replied that she wanted to be a humanitarian. She has indeed shared her experience and compassionate heart with a myriad of organizations and causes. Some of those include Camilla's House as a volunteer, The Milagro Center as a parent advocate, The Haitian American Center as a volunteer, The Living Arts Movement as a multicultural marketing consultant, the Delray Beach Police Department as a volunteer and youth basketball assistant, and for College Tour and Preparation, Community Chat, and Teen Summit as a volunteer.
